New Year’s always confuses me. Every workplace treats it differently, making it tough to know who’s available and when. I suppose it’s not the biggest deal ever, but it’s definitely something that leaves me scratching my head.
My 2025 kicked off with a trip to Domino’s at around 1:00 a.m., so if that’s not a tone setter for the year, I don’t know what is.
By the end of last week, I finally regained my appetite and some energy, so I’m easing back into my gym routine. Between weightlifting and running, I might be biting off more than I can chew, but we’ll see how it goes. I’ve got a natural drive to push through, so I might as well go for it.
This week, in addition to regular client work, I’m focusing on getting ahead with my own content. My buddy Cade challenged me to start creating personal brand and social media content that I can churn out alongside my usual work. It’s a priority for sure.
On the Integrity Grove front, we made some minor wording changes on integritygrove.com to emphasize our social media management services, something that’s been drawing the most interest lately. This week, we’re planning to roll out more updates and start strategizing our outreach efforts.
If you know me, you know I thrive on open communication, random phone calls, messages, Discord chats, addressing ideas as soon as they pop up. Recently, though, I’ve been exploring how to better collect and organize my thoughts. To put this into practice, my brother and I are scheduling two structured meetings a week. These meetings will have agendas designed to help refine our thinking and ensure no idea slips through the cracks. It might be a waste of time, or it could be the key to never losing track of a good idea again. Only time will tell!
