🎶 The Nights

I work with a handful of businesses and professionals once a month, and from that one recording session, I provide them with a month’s worth of social media content. This brings their total time commitment to just three hours a month—an hour for meeting and strategizing, and up to two hours of recording. This has been a popular option for businesses that don’t want to think about social media but still value the importance of having high-quality content posted a few times a week.

To keep my workflow efficient, I try to schedule most of my productions during the same week so I can stay in production mode. Then, the following week, I shift into editing and fulfillment mode. This past week was a production week, and I was able to test out my a7S III for my YouTube content—it worked great! I’m very excited to keep using it.

Ashley, an incredible human being I help with socials, rented a condo overlooking Iowa City, which was super cool. I always enjoy my time working with her because she’s so invested in making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

This coming week will be a big editing week. I’m planning to push hard to get ahead, which means putting in some extra hours. I’ve been good at staying ahead on the content I produce for businesses, but I’ve fallen behind on my personal content, and that needs to change. So, work hard I will!

The low point of the week is that I backed into my roommate’s car. Car repairs are expensive, and it’s a real bummer. My dad described it as one of those costs you naturally incur when driving—it just happens all at once in a lump sum. That made me feel a little better about it!

🔮 Inspiration from This Week

🎥 Movie – Avicii – I’m Tim – I watched the Netflix documentary about Avicii this past week. He was a DJ who revolutionized the EDM world with his music like no one had before. I’ve been listening to his work forever but didn’t know much about him, so this was a really cool and impactful film to watch. It featured a ton of his music and explored the depth of his struggles as he continued to grow.

📚 Book$100M Offers: How To Make Offers So Good People Feel Stupid Saying No – I finally read a book—let’s go! Well, I listened to it at least… Anyway, there’s so much knowledge out there that I’ve been wanting to soak up and get accustomed to hearing new, complex ideas again. This book was written by Alex Hormozi, who has one of the most fascinating social media-to-business acquisition models I’ve ever seen. The book link takes you to a Spotify playlist where you can listen to it for free if you’d like!
