🗓️ What I Did This Week
What a crazy week this has been for no reason. I’ve been holding back on putting out content until I released my website, and this was the week I did just that. I put a ton of work into isaacjarnagin.com and making sure it can be the online representation of me and what I do for a long time to come, and I believe I did just that.
With my website up, my weekly podcast routine is coming back. I also decided that I’d do a weekly newsletter cause that sounded fun. I also will be back posting short-form content and giving all my socials love again.
I currently am making my own content as well as partnering with a few businesses to help them put out content as well. Believe it or not, this month has been my busiest month of my career so far which is great, but also scary! Am I going to peak in January? (lol)
Now to get specific one of my clients I make short-form content for, and that is completely remote. I also record for a tree service, and I also record for a real estate agency. These diverse opportunities allow me to pave the way in my head of what I need to be doing, and what I shouldn’t be doing. I’m way too young to be turning away from a little extra work and if I want to be big-time, I have to know every avenue, so I LOVE the diversity in work.
✍️ Insight
Be very thoughtful when turning away opportunities, especially as you’re young. My biggest opportunities have come from personal relationships I’ve intentionally grown. Maybe the first opportunity you receive doesn’t seem like it fits, but that doesn’t mean the next one won’t. No one is too good for anyone. It’s a hard world and we all have to power through it together, be good to each other, and help each other solve each other’s problems. Now I know that’s a lot of “each others” but you get the point! Just this week, I was awestruck of an opportunity I could potentially have just by showing up for that individual.
Thanks for taking the time to read this read this week!

🔮 Inspiration from This Week
🍿 Video – RGB Project – I feel like YouTube is a little less creative nowadays, everything is just too professional. That is why I really enjoyed this project by Jake Frew. He made 3 videos titled “R”, “G”, and “B”. He compiled all of his creative shots over the years and put them into these 3 videos. Each video conveyed different emotions and messages, and I thought is was so freaking cool! I’m definitely a fan creative stuff like this.
👥 Person – Austin Sugerman – Ever since Austin and I ran into each other on the internet we’ve kept in touch. This man inspired me this week, he just released his film, “Somewhere West of Virginia” where his friends and him go on a 7,000-mile road trip in the United States. He put in half of his days editing for 2 weeks straight to turn it around. He also updated me with how it’s going throughout which motivated me. Also I just did a podcast with his business partner who also had nothing but good things to say about him.
✏️ Item – DJI Mic – I rejected audio for years. Since I’ve been doing way more social content and talking head recordings, I picked these wireless mics up, and have been plug and play, it’s been great.
🎬 My New Videos
🎬 YouTube – Finishing a Music Video Start to Finish in 120 Hours – Finally am releasing this banger where I got a last-minute call from an ole friend who needed help recording a music video, and it needed to be turned around asap. I immediately traveled to Michigan and turned the video around in 120 hours!
🎙️ Isaac Jarnagin Podcast – Josh Hild – Josh Hild is a photographer currently based in the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys traveling, urban exploring, and meeting up with other creators.
