🤣 Oh Boy

My room is a great reflection of how busy my week has been. If it’s organized, I’m having a normal week. If it’s disorganized, you can bet I’ve had a busy one. This week? Disorganized. Growing up, I cared so much about aesthetics that my younger self would cringe at the current state of my room. But honestly, I’m incredibly thankful for a busy week.

Two years ago, I would’ve done anything for a full calendar of things I love. Sacrificing a tidy room to get there feels like a small price to pay. That said, I might need a better system in the future to balance being busy and staying organized, but for now, I’ll take it one step at a time.

This might sound a little David Goggins of me, but I hit the gym at 5 a.m. four out of five weekdays this week. Getting to this level of consistency has taken me about half a year. To be honest, I still feel super tired in the middle of the day and struggle with productivity, but I wouldn’t trade anything for the peace and focus I get in those early hours. We’ll see if I can keep it up.

As for personal content creation, I’m probably still five or so 12-hour days away from catching up. I’ve mentioned this in my last three newsletters and haven’t followed through yet—so that’s on me. It’s funny; I’ve been doing this for so long and consuming so much of other people’s work that I end up underestimating my own abilities. That self-doubt isn’t justified, and I know it.

Lately, I’ve realized I can’t do everything all at once. I’m finally at an age where I have to pick and choose my best moves, and while that’s been a hard pill to swallow, it’s also liberating. Sometimes, I miss having nothing to do, when I could pursue whatever excited me without limits. Now, to include some things, I have to sacrifice others. And honestly? That’s just part of the growth.

As for a work update: this week, I had several discovery calls with companies interested in our help with social media. All of them were inbound leads, which is fantastic! I’m excited to see a few outbound leads start to come in as we continue to refine our approach.

Right now, our workload is a mix of social media clients, video production projects, and web design—definitely a lot to juggle, but it’s an exciting kind of busy. We’re on track for an above-average first quarter, which is both unexpected and incredibly rewarding. It’s always fun when growth happens in ways you didn’t quite anticipate!

🎥 YouTubeI made it in the paper! – A few weeks ago, I made it into the local paper, which was such a cool moment! I thought I’d share some clips from that day and my reaction to seeing it for the first time. Stuff like this doesn’t happen every day, and I’m just really grateful for it.
