Hope everyone had a good Christmas! I enjoyed some family time, but I woke up feeling unwell on Christmas morning and ended up doing absolutely nothing for a few days because of it, which really sucked. I’m still low on energy, but at least I can move again!
This week, I took the leap and purchased a Sony a7S III, which now gives me two cameras in-house for on-the-go use, something I’m really happy about. While many people rely heavily on rentals, which is great, I think it’s incredibly beneficial to have a two-camera setup ready to go at a moment’s notice without the need to rent.
I also took an extra day to work on “2024 Memory Reel – Isaac Jarnagin,” a recap of my year that showcases some of my videography. This project was a fun way to put in some reps toward getting “creative” (whatever that means), and I even threw in some voiceovers for the good ol’ memories.
Right now, I’m feeling a bit disorganized after spending a few days doing nothing. My room is a mess, which makes my mind feel cluttered, so I’m excited to clean up and get back to life as normal—or as normal as I can manage!
This is the last newsletter of 2024, let’s make next year a great one!
🔮 Inspiration from This Week
🍿 Video – It’s Coming to an End. (Episode 7) – Grinded out some golf YouTube videos while I was sick, so it’s been super cool watching Grant Horvat scale his brand so fast the little amount I’ve been watching him. Always inspiring seeing someone carving out a life for themselves!
