I’m preparing this week for my first Young Guns Collective outing. The name sounds official, but at its core, it’s a no-nonsense group of young business owners who want to support each other, build discipline, share knowledge, and hold each other accountable. Personally, I’ve only met one of the attendees, so I’m excited to meet the others!
The attendees are from all over the United States. I’m in Iowa, Cade is in the Denver area, and we have members from North Dakota, Ohio, and more. From what I understand, all of our businesses are in the field of online marketing.
We’ll be headed to the Outer Banks, which I’ve never been to! Each attendee will be speaking on a skill they feel proficient in, and there will also be plenty of time slots dedicated to strategizing for our businesses moving forward. Plus, there’ll be lots of time to explore the town together!
I’m especially looking forward to hearing everyone’s stories. I often feel like I’m the only one doing what I do, which isn’t true, so it’s always incredibly beneficial to meet others who are spending their lives doing the same work as me. I’m super pumped!
To prepare, I’ll need to get more editing work done this week and ensure everything is prepped and scheduled for my clients and myself. Any extra work I can complete will help reduce stress for the trip.
🔮 Inspiration from This Week
🍿 Video – Summit Culture Episode One | Bearfence Mountain – My buddy, Austin, started up a series where he talks to people about why they like to hike, enjoy the outdoors, or any subject along that matter. He’s been turning this into an online community which is always super inspring to see.
🎬 My New Videos
🎥 YouTube – My Childhood Spot – After finishing up some work in my hometown, Panora, Iowa, I decided to check out a few of the spots I used to hang out as a kid. It was nice to see some familiar places and remember the old days.
